I just came across this pic of Nelly Furtado on Pop on the Pop. This is what happens to nice Canadian girls who head south in pursuit of the American Dream. She wakes up from the nightmare with bedhead like this. Then again, it doesn’t really surprise me. She had to sing all about just how much of a whore she was to make to where she is. What the hell is wrong with this country? When an abundant supply is all it takes to drive up the demand, you know that something isn’t right. That right there is the problem with consumerism: we need it to sustain capitalism, but it just goes and fucks it all up.
